Get Involved With Our Petition
Here's a few simple instructions on how to help out with our petition against the Council's parking schemes.
- Download and print a copy of the petition
- PDF format (52kb) DOWNLOAD Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Collect as many names as possible
- Completed petition forms can be handed in to the Balance Chiropractic and Yoga Centre, 118-122 Napiershall Street (view map)
- Please only sign the petition once as signing it more than once will invalidate it.
- Note: as yet there is no final date for when petition forms need to be returned by - as soon as there is we will communicate it as widely as possible.

We have now created an online version of this petition for you to sign if you are not able to sign one of the petition forms. Please remember to write your own comments on the CPZ (controlled parking zones).
Please make sure you only sign the petition once, whether that is the online version or the original petition mentioned above.
Points to Note about the Metered Parking Online Petition:
- Only sign the online petition if you haven't already signed a petition form
- Your email address WILL NOT appear on the petition
- Duplicate signatures will be removed automatically

Metered Parking Action Group at the West End Festival
Many thanks to everyone that came by the stall at the Gibson St. street party
on Sunday 26th June. It was a very productive afternoon. Members of the Action Group
were hard at work collecting signatures for the petition and handing out posters.
There were hundreds of signatures collected for the petition during the afternoon and a lot of conversations with members of the public who were not aware of the Council's plans.
The stall was a great success in
- raising local residents' awareness about the parking issues
- handing out leaflets and posters
- obtaining petition signatures
